Welcome from the Headteacher

A very warm welcome to St John Henry Newman Catholic Primary School.

We opened our doors in September 2022 with just 38 pupils and a shared vision to build something special for our local community. In just three years, that vision has grown into a flourishing school of over 400 children. 

We are proud to be the first brand-new Catholic school to open in over a decade, and our stunning state-of-the-art eco-building provides a modern and sustainable learning environment where every child is inspired to grow and thrive.

In March 2025, we were delighted to be judged Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted – a testament to the dedication of our staff, the enthusiasm of our pupils, the support of our families and the strength of our shared mission.

Alongside our primary provision, we also offer on-site nursery care through Busy Bunnies Nursery, which provides 26 high-quality places for our youngest learners and helps support a seamless start to our school journey.
